NIJISANJI
NIJISANJI is a virtual talent group operated by ANYCOLOR Inc., known for its large roster of “Livers”, its main branch in Japan and its English-language branch NIJISANJI EN. Livers stream mainly on YouTube, and the group holds an annual flagship event, NIJISANJI Fes, in the Tokyo area. History
According to Wikipedia, Ichikara opened a call for virtual idols on January 11, 2018, tied to a face-tracking app called Nijisanji. The first talents under the name were announced on March 15, 2018. Overseas, branches in Indonesia (September 2019) and Korea (January 2020) followed, and the English branch NIJISANJI EN started with its first wave, LazuLight, on May 16, 2021. On April 15, 2022, the Indonesian and Korean branches merged into the main Japanese branch. Early labels such as NIJISANJI SEEDs and NIJISANJI Gamers were also folded into the main roster, which is why long-serving livers like Sasaki Saku (debut July 6, 2018) are now listed simply as NIJISANJI livers.
NIJISANJI EN
NIJISANJI EN’s first wave, LazuLight, debuted in May 2021, and further waves followed: Luxiem (December 2021), ILUNA (July 2022), XSOLEIL (December 2022), Krisis (June 2023), TTT (October 2023), Denauth (May 2024) and BY THE BEAT (March 2025), according to Wikipedia. These talents stream mainly in English. The branch has its own NIJISANJI EN Official Store, which ships many of the same goods as the Japanese store; see our guide to buying NIJISANJI goods and voice packs from overseas.
NIJISANJI Fes and concerts
The annual NIJISANJI Fes is held in the Tokyo area. Wikipedia lists the 2026 edition as the fifth, held on May 16 and 17, 2026 at Makuhari Messe, and says more than 140 VTubers take part each year. ANYCOLOR’s first-quarter results for the fiscal year ending April 2027 said NIJISANJI Fes 2026 and three solo performances drew a stronger response than forecast. The next large group show is the NIJISANJI Girls Idol Festival at Intex Osaka Hall 5 on December 19 (Iris Stage) and December 20, 2026 (Prism Stage), with 16 livers, eight per night, a shared theme song and paid streaming in several formats; see our article on the festival.
