Career
According to Wikipedia, Kuzuha debuted as an independent VTuber on March 8, 2018, formed Chronoir with Kanae in July 2018, and was scouted by what is now ANYCOLOR, joining NIJISANJI’s gamer branch on July 30, 2018, as the first VTuber the company scouted. The branch was dissolved in December 2018, and its members became known as “EX-Gamers.”
Wikipedia describes the streaming style as long game sessions that usually start between 9 and 11 p.m. JST and last six to ten hours, almost daily, noted for skill and distinctive live commentary. On June 3, 2025, the channel reached 2 million subscribers, the first in NIJISANJI and the first male VTuber in Japan to do so. Wikipedia lists about 2.12 million subscribers.
Music
Alongside gaming, music has become a second pillar:
- Cover songs: the most popular cover on the channel is “KING” (originally by Kanaria), which Wikipedia says had passed 53 million views as of June 2025.
- “Contrail” (September 8, 2021): the first digital single, with lyrics by Kuzuha, which topped the Billboard Japan download chart.
- Mini album “Sweet Bite” (March 2022) and the single “Black Crack” (November 2023), whose lead track was the opening theme of the anime *Good Night World*.
- “Gimmie More” (June 11, 2025): a digital single written and composed by Nqrse.
2026: Adamantite and Bloody Alexandrite
On March 8, 2026, during a YouTube stream, Kuzuha announced a one-man live and a second mini album, according to MoguraVR.
The album *Adamantite* (July 29, 2026). According to ANYCOLOR’s press release, the main disc has seven new songs with writers including Ayase (“Oudou”), Eve (“Wakannai desu!”), AKASAKI, TeddyLoid and Natsuyo Takaaki. The limited edition A adds a second disc with five remixes of existing songs, such as “Liberty & Freedom” and “Contrail.” Editions are:
- Limited Edition A (5,500 yen): two CDs
- Limited Edition B (5,500 yen): CD plus an emblem brooch in a special box
- Regular Edition (2,640 yen): CD
The first pressing of each edition included a serial code for the priority ticket lottery for the live.
The live “Bloody Alexandrite” (October 12, 2026). Held at K-Arena Yokohama, with guests Kenmochi Toya, Fuwa Minato, Ibrahim and Lauren Iroas. Walkerplus’s report says the setlist had 25 songs and ended with a double encore finishing on “KING,” and that the audience was asked to wear red, which turned the venue red. Mid-show, the stage turned into a “demon world” with a costume change. Real Sound described the show as a solo live in three years. The report does not state attendance.
Chronoir
With Kanae, Kuzuha forms the duo Chronoir. They streamed games, performed at events, and were a duo under NIJISANJI Records until 2024, after which they moved to AccelNotes, according to Wikipedia. Their weekly program “Chronoir Does Something” began in 2022. The name combines the Japanese and French words for “black,” the favorite color of both.
Where to start
- For music: start with the “KING” cover above, then “Contrail” and the new album.
- For streams: open a recent game archive on the channel. These are in Japanese and tend to be long, so look for a highlight or cut if you want a shorter introduction.
- For the group context: see our article on ANYCOLOR’s latest results.
