VSPO!
VSPO! (ぶいすぽっ!) is a Japanese virtual esports project built around VTubers who take competitive games seriously. Its official site describes it as a “next-generation virtual esports project” that combines VTuber streaming, participation in esports tournaments, and media-mix projects such as anime, music and novels. It is one of Japan’s best-known VTuber agencies outside the two giants, hololive and NIJISANJI.

History
According to Bloomeria’s overview, VSPO!’s first VTubers debuted on October 11, 2018, and nine days later the group won the first VTuber “Saikyo Kettei-sen” tournament in PUBG. The group has since entered esports competitions such as CR Cup and worked on a collaboration PC with GALLERIA in 2023.
Notable members named in that overview include Kagame Sumire, the group’s first VTuber; Komori Meto, who moved to VSPO! from 774 inc. in a widely reported transfer; Tachibana Hinano, a former pro player; and Ichinose Uruha, a high-ranked VALORANT player. Member counts vary between sources, so we do not give a total here.
What makes it different
Most big VTuber agencies are known for variety streams, music or character-driven content. VSPO! leans on competition: members practice and stream team matches, and the agency stages events in which members face rival teams made up of pro players, former pros and streamers. This gives the group a distinctive position for viewers who want to watch skill and teamwork, not only personality.
VSPO! SHOWDOWN 2026
The clearest example is VSPO! SHOWDOWN 2026 powered by RAGE, the second edition of the agency’s esports event, held on March 21–22, 2026 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo. According to the event announcement, members faced active and former pro players and streamers in three titles:
- VALORANT: teams of five led by Tsumugi Kokage (Day 1) and Hanabusa Lisa (Day 2), with coaches, against rival teams.
- League of Legends: teams of five led by Tachibana Hinano (Day 1) and Sendo Yuuhi (Day 2).
- Street Fighter 6: a team of three led by Kisaragi Ren (Day 1) and a team of two, Kaminari Qpi and Amayui Moka (Day 2).
The event was streamed for free on the VSPO! official YouTube and Twitch channels, with a paid pay-per-view option showing individual player screens and team voice chat. Reserved seats cost 12,000 yen per day, with an optional 3,000 yen upgrade for front-area seating. Practice streams began on March 9, 2026.
Recent activity
Bloomeria’s overview, last updated in May 2026, lists an offline festival, VSPO! Fes 2026, at LaLa arena TOKYO-BAY in Funabashi, Chiba on November 22–24, 2026. We were not able to confirm the event on the official site, so please check VSPO!’s announcements before planning to attend.
Where it fits
Anime News Network ranked VSPO! third in popularity among Japanese VTuber agencies, after hololive and NIJISANJI. For readers new to the scene, VSPO! is a good starting point if you prefer competitive gaming content over idol-style streams. For the largest agencies, see hololive production and NIJISANJI. For a defunct Western agency, see VShojo.
