Who Oozora Subaru is

Oozora Subaru is a Japanese VTuber who belongs to the 2nd Generation of hololive production, which is run by COVER Corporation. She made her debut stream on September 16, 2018. Her official profile lists her illustrator as Shigure Ui, her fan name as Subatomo, her stream tag as #生スバル and her fan art tag as #プロテインザスバル.

In her self-introduction she describes herself as the manager of an MMA team and an e-sports club who is also working on her own pro-gamer skills. Her listed hobbies are watching movies and taking walks.

Channel and style

Hololist describes her content as free talk, gaming, singing and watch-along streams, in Japanese. She is also known for her friendships inside the agency. English Wikipedia’s article on Nekomata Okayu notes that Okayu is close with Subaru, and that the two of them and Ookami Mio released the song Sashimio in 2021. The same article credits Subaru as one of the singers on Dodekambitious (2023) together with Sakura Miko and Usada Pekora.

In 2026 she took part in a collaboration with CoCo Ichibanya together with Otonose Kanade, which Yutura lists as having started on April 10, 2026, under the name of a hololive-themed CoCo Ichibanya store. Dengeki Online reported on March 6, 2026, that she would appear in the Bandai Spirits Ichiban Kuji series hololive RPG Style, along with Nakiri Ayame, Shiranui Flare and Shirogane Noel, with in-store sales starting September 5, 2026.

Yutura also lists her YouTube channel at roughly two million subscribers, and Hololist gives a similar figure; both change over time.

How to follow and what to expect

Subaru streams on YouTube in Japanese. Her channel is mostly live content, so the best way to find out what is coming is to check her X account, where she announces streams and collaborations.

New viewers who want to hear her voice outside of games can look for the group songs mentioned above. Because she is active in many collaboration streams with other hololive members, her channel also works as an entry point to the wider group of the 2nd Generation.
