What was announced
GAME Watch reported the launch on October 26, 2026, describing holoLounge as a new COVER goods series for gaming environments with designs based on hololive members. The first wave pairs two members, Laplus Darkness and Kazama Iroha, and each of the four product types is offered in a version for each of them. That gives a total of eight designs: two chairs, two chair mats, two glass mouse pads and two folding containers.
The official shop lists the chair mat at 9,900 yen and the gaming chair at 72,600 yen, with the glass mouse pad and folding container sharing a combined listing. The mouse pad is tempered glass, roughly 420 by 490 millimetres and 1.5 millimetres thick. The container is polypropylene, roughly 23 by 40 by 29 centimetres. At the time of reading, the shop page for the mouse pad and container showed all four variants as sold out, which may mean the first allocation was limited; the page also says sales can end early once the set quantity is reached and that restocking is possible but not guaranteed.
About the chair
Details on the chair come from a Russian-language report by Gamers Life, so treat them as secondary until the official page confirms them. It describes the Kazama Iroha chair as white and green, with a reproduction of her signature on the back of the backrest. It gives the dimensions as 125.5 to 133 centimetres high, 72 centimetres wide and 67 centimetres deep, made from fabric and artificial leather, and names Seki Furniture as the manufacturer. It also says the Iroha chair is sold only in Japan. The report provides no specifications for the Laplus Darkness chair.
How ordering works
The shop describes the goods as made to order (jyuchu seisan in Japanese), which means production starts after the order window closes on November 16. If you add these items to an order that also includes in-stock goods or other items with a fixed ship date, the shop says everything ships together once every item is ready, so a single late-April item can hold back the rest of the parcel. The page also warns that shipping can be delayed around year-end, long holidays and inventory periods, that cancellations are not accepted once payment is confirmed, and that product images are illustrations whose colours may differ on your screen.
GAME Watch also points readers to Japanese retailers in addition to the official shop. The article does not state whether any of them ship abroad.
Background
Laplus Darkness and Kazama Iroha are both members of holoX, the hololive unit that also includes Hakui Koyori and Takane Lui. They are currently featured together in a separate promotion, the Tokyo Joypolis collaboration covered in our article on the SHINY PARTY closing screening. For more on the agency behind the goods, see our hololive production page.
What this means for overseas fans
Because the shop page limits sales to within Japan, overseas fans who want these items would normally need a forwarding or proxy service, and that carries its own risks: the item is large, the chair is heavy, and the shop does not allow cancellation after payment. Our guide to buying official VTuber merch from Japan explains the options and what to check first. With an order deadline of November 16 and a late-April shipping estimate, there is time to compare routes before committing.
What we don’t know yet
- Whether later holoLounge volumes will feature other members, and when.
- Whether any vol.1 item will be restocked or sold outside Japan.
- The chair specifications for the Laplus Darkness version and the per-order purchase limit, which the shop page leaves blank.
- Whether the Japanese retailers named by GAME Watch accept overseas shipping addresses.
