hololive Fan Zone Seats Go On Sale for Seibu Lions Games at Taipei Dome
COVER Corporation, the company behind hololive production, announced on November 4, 2026 that hololive will take part in the SEIBU LIONS TAIWAN SERIES – LEGENDS GAME –, two days of Japanese and Taiwanese professional baseball at the Taipei Dome on February 27 and 28, 2027. Shishiro Botan and Usada Pekora are the event’s special cheer supporters, the illustrator LOIZA has drawn a new collaboration visual, and a block of “hololive Fan Zone” seats comes with an exclusive collaboration happi coat. Tickets went on sale the same day in Taiwan.
For overseas fans this is an unusual mix: a Japanese baseball club playing exchange games abroad against Taiwanese teams, with hololive branding woven into the stands. Below is what the official announcements say, how the special seats work, what the times are in other time zones, and what has not been announced yet.
At a glance
- Event: SEIBU LIONS TAIWAN SERIES – LEGENDS GAME – (in Taiwan, “Kintone Presents 西武獅台灣系列賽-傳奇對決”), organized around the Saitama Seibu Lions.
- Venue: Taipei Dome, 345 Zhongxiao East Road Section 4, Xinyi District, Taipei. The Lions describe it as a stadium for about 40,000 people.
- Saturday, February 27, 2027: Saitama Seibu Lions vs. Uni-President 7-ELEVEN Lions at 15:05, followed by a post-game concert at 19:00 (Taiwan time).
- Sunday, February 28, 2027: Saitama Seibu Lions vs. CTBC Brothers at 15:05, followed at 19:00 by a legends game between Seibu Lions alumni and a Chinese Taipei alumni team.
- Gates: 12:00 on both days. A ticket covers that day’s game and the event that follows it.
- hololive’s role: Shishiro Botan and Usada Pekora are special cheer supporters. LOIZA drew the collaboration visual. COVER also lists in-stadium cheering content, an opening video and a line of collaboration merchandise.
- hololive Fan Zone: B1 infield B seats, Section 119, rows 1 to 9, NT$2,680 per ticket, each with an exclusive collaboration happi coat. Taiwanese coverage reports the coat is limited to 55 per game.

Why the Seibu Lions are playing in Taipei
The Lions first announced the series on June 20, 2026, at a press conference held at the Tainan home ground of the CPBL’s Uni-President Lions. The club gave the arrival of Taiwanese outfielder Lin An-ko, who joined the Lions for the 2026 season, as the trigger for the trip. Seibu also has a long Taiwanese connection: pitcher Kuo Tai-yuan, Hsu Ming-chieh and Wu Nien-ting all played for the Lions before Lin.
The second day ends with the “legends game.” The Lions say about 30 former players are expected to take part, including Kuo Tai-yuan, Hisanobu Watanabe, Tetsuya Shiozaki, Uni-President Lions manager Lin Yueh-ping and coach Kao Chih-kang. The full alumni rosters will be announced later.
Why hololive, and why Botan and Pekora
This is not hololive’s first baseball project. In August 2021 hololive announced a collaboration with all six Pacific League clubs, pairing two talents with each team. Shishiro Botan was paired with the Saitama Seibu Lions, together with Shirakami Fubuki, while Usada Pekora was paired with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters. That project included goods and a sponsored “hololive day” game at Kyocera Dome Osaka. The Taiwan Series brings Botan back to the Lions, this time alongside Pekora.
It also fits a pattern in hololive’s recent overseas activity. In October 2026 COVER took hololive Meet to DreamHack Stockholm, and the “hololive 7th fes.” concert received delayed screenings in Hong Kong and Macau. A baseball stadium is a very different kind of venue from a convention hall or a cinema, and it puts hololive in front of sports fans as well as its own audience.
How the hololive Fan Zone seats work
The hololive Fan Zone is a fixed block of seats: B1 infield B seats, Section 119, rows 1 to 9. Each ticket costs NT$2,680, the same price as the regular B1 infield B seat, but instead of the standard Seibu Lions happi coat it comes with an exclusive hololive × Seibu Lions happi coat using LOIZA’s new visual. Taiwanese gaming site Paradaily reports that the coat is not sold separately and is limited to 55 per game.
The coat has to be collected on the day. Show your ticket at the service counter near Gate 4 before your ticket is scanned. COVER’s notice says that once you have entered the venue you can no longer claim the gift, and that missed, lost or damaged items will not be replaced or sent later. If you plan to attend, collect the coat first and go through the gate second.
The Fan Zone seats are sold only on the udn ticketing site run by udnFunLife, a company set up by Taiwan’s United Daily News Group. COVER’s English notice links separate sales pages for the February 27 and February 28 games.
Other seats and entry gifts
According to Taiwanese coverage of the ticket launch, the other seat types are priced as follows (Taiwan dollars, per game):
- B1 infield: NT$1,880 to NT$2,880 (B1 infield A and B seats come with a regular Seibu Lions happi coat)
- L2 infield: NT$1,580 to NT$2,380
- L4 infield: NT$780
- L5 infield: NT$580
- B1 outfield: NT$1,080
General tickets went on sale on November 4, 2026 at 12:00 Taiwan time through udn ticketing (third-base side and wheelchair seats) and Klook (first-base side), after a pre-sale for Chunghwa Telecom customers on November 2 and 3. The first-base side is the Seibu Lions’ cheering area. Entry gifts are a cheering light on February 27 and a cheering flag on February 28, each limited to 20,000 per game while supplies last.
Times in other time zones
Taiwan is one hour behind Japan (UTC+8). The 15:05 first pitch is 16:05 JST, 07:05 UTC, 02:05 EST on the same day and 23:05 PST on the previous evening. The 19:00 events start at 20:00 JST and 11:00 UTC.
Practical notes for overseas fans
- Prices are in Taiwan dollars. Check the final amount and any fees on the udn checkout page.
- Neither COVER nor the Lions say whether buyers outside Taiwan can register on udn ticketing. Check the site’s own sign-up and payment requirements before the seats you want are gone.
- If you want the hololive coat, make sure you are buying Section 119, rows 1 to 9, through udn. The same price in another B1 B section, or a Klook ticket, does not include it.
- One ticket covers the whole day, from the 12:00 gate opening through the 19:00 event, so travelling fans should plan for a long day at the stadium.
What we don’t know yet
- What the collaboration merchandise will be, how much it costs, and whether it will be sold online or only at the stadium.
- What form the cheering content and opening video will take, and whether Botan and Pekora will appear in them.
- Who will perform at the February 27 post-game concert, and the full legends rosters.
- Whether any part of the event will be streamed for viewers outside Taiwan.
We will update this article when COVER or the Lions announce more.
