hololive 7th fes. Heads to Cinemas in Hong Kong and Macau on October 31 and November 1
Fans in Hong Kong and Macau will get a second chance to see hololive 7th fes. “Ridin’ on Dream” on a cinema screen. COVER Corporation announced delayed screening events with Emperor Cinemas on October 13, 2026, following the live festival held in March 2026.
Dates and venues
The screenings run on October 31 (Saturday) and November 1 (Sunday), 2026, split into four “stages,” two per day.
- Emperor Cinemas (Times Square), Hong Kong: October 31, Stage 1 at 11:50 and Stage 2 at 15:10; November 1, Stage 3 at 11:50 and Stage 4 at 15:10.
- Emperor Cinemas (Lisboeta), Macau: October 31, Stage 1 at 13:00 and Stage 2 at 16:20; November 1, Stage 3 at 13:00 and Stage 4 at 16:30.
Tickets and bonuses
VIP ticket sales began on October 16, and general sales opened on October 17. Tickets are sold per stage through the Emperor Cinemas ticketing site, with a separate link for each of the four stages.
Each ticket comes with a collectible given at entry that matches the stage:
- General admission: one collectible postcard.
- VIP CINEMER Exclusive: one special A3 printed collectible poster and one postcard.
Background: the live event behind the screenings
According to the event site, hololive 7th fes. “Ridin’ on Dreams” ran from Friday, March 6 to Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Makuhari Messe, as part of hololive SUPER EXPO 2026. The site calls it hololive production’s largest event and concert to date, and organizes the performances into four “stages”: Stage 1 on day one, Stages 2 and 3 on day two, and Stage 4 on day three. The Hong Kong and Macau screenings also use four stage names, but the announcement does not say whether they replay the same programs, so check the cinema listings for the cast of each stage.
“Delayed” here means what it says: these are recorded screenings shown months after the live performance, not a live broadcast. Neither the runtime nor the subtitle or audio language was given in the announcement.
Why Hong Kong and Macau
This is not the first time Emperor Cinemas has hosted hololive in the region. When Takanashi Kiara and Ninomae Ina’nis held their duo live “Drawn to Dawn” at the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on March 27–28, 2026, screenings were held at several Emperor Cinemas venues in Hong Kong. The official hololive coverage reports strong turnout on both days, and says the city was chosen partly because its VTuber fanbase has grown steadily since 2020 and fans had asked for local events that spare them the cost of flying overseas. The fan group Holofans HK organized group photos and videos around the screenings.
The pattern is useful for planning: a cinema screening is a way to reach fans who cannot travel to Japan or the United States, and a way for fans to meet each other in person. Macau, which is a short trip from Hong Kong, gets its own venue at Lisboeta this time.
Showtimes in Japan time
Hong Kong and Macau both use UTC+8, which is one hour behind Japan. The announced start times convert as follows (Japan time in brackets):
- Hong Kong, Times Square: Stage 1 at 11:50 (12:50) and Stage 2 at 15:10 (16:10) on October 31; Stage 3 at 11:50 (12:50) and Stage 4 at 15:10 (16:10) on November 1.
- Macau, Lisboeta: Stage 1 at 13:00 (14:00) and Stage 2 at 16:20 (17:20) on October 31; Stage 3 at 13:00 (14:00) and Stage 4 at 16:30 (17:30) on November 1.
Because tickets are sold through a separate page for each stage, plan on buying a ticket for every stage you want to see. The announcement does not give ticket prices.
Why it matters
Concert screenings let fans who could not attend a ticketed live experience it in a group setting, and the collectibles give a reason to go even if you have already watched the stream. The announcement does not say how many seats are available, so popular showtimes may sell out. Check the cinema’s ticketing pages for current availability.

What we don’t know yet
The announcement does not give ticket prices or seat counts, and it does not say which talents appear in each stage beyond describing the screenings as the 7th fes. live event from March 2026. Check the Emperor Cinemas ticketing pages for the line-up per stage and current availability.
What to watch next
- Ticket prices and seat availability on the Emperor Cinemas pages, which are the only place to buy.
- Whether more showings are added if the first ones sell out; the announcement only says the screenings run in October and November.
- Whether the same format returns for other hololive concerts. The Drawn to Dawn screenings earlier this year and these suggest regular cinema tie-ups in Hong Kong.
