KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO’s virtual artists Asu (明透) and Bema (琴舞) released their albums on October 28, 2026. Asu’s 3rd album is titled BELOVED and Bema’s 1st album is titled LOVELESS. The two releases are designed as a pair, and the artists have also announced a joint live show, “I”, for February 14, 2027.

At a glance

  • Release date: October 28, 2026 (JST), Asu “BELOVED” (3rd album) and Bema “LOVELESS” (1st album)
  • Each album has 10 tracks; the CD editions come in a box set, and the jackets were newly drawn by Mai Yoneyama
  • Two-man live “I”: February 14, 2027 (Sun), Fuchu no Mori Arts Theater, Dream Hall (Fuchu, Tokyo); doors 16:30, start 17:30 JST (planned)
  • Official first lottery presale on Rakuten Ticket: applications until November 1, 2026, 23:59 JST
  • CD and merchandise orders at FINDME STORE by THINKR: until November 9, 2026, 13:00 JST

What was announced

According to VMedia’s report of October 29, which cites KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO’s official announcements, the two albums are built around opposite themes. BELOVED is described as being about the joy and happiness of love, while LOVELESS deals with the pain and suffering that come from loving someone. Each album holds ten songs.

Since May 2025, Asu and Bema have released original music videos on the same day, with Asu’s video going up first and Bema’s following 15 to 30 minutes later. Six pairs have been released so far, starting with “Link” and “Symbiotic Dominion” on May 7, 2025, and most recently on July 8, 2026. These twelve songs are split six and six across the two albums.

New songs were also added. For BELOVED, the new tracks are “PlayFull” (music by HiFi-P), “Spectrum” (Neuron) and “Polaroid” (Shun Ueno). For LOVELESS, they are “Hyōryū” (Kore), “Pain Killer” (Umetora) and “Neuro Utopia” (Δ). The tenth track on each album is a cover of the other artist’s song. Live performances of “PlayFull” and “Pain Killer” from the Cross Night LIVE were put on each artist’s YouTube channel on the release day.

The two-man live “I”

The live show will take place at Fuchu no Mori Arts Theater, Dream Hall, on February 14, 2027. Doors are planned for 16:30 and the show for 17:30 JST, which is 08:30 UTC, or 03:30 a.m. US Eastern time on the same day. The official first lottery presale is open on Rakuten Ticket until 23:59 JST on November 1. Results and payment run from 12:00 on November 6 to 23:59 on November 10. The source articles do not give a ticket price or say whether the show will be streamed.

What it means for overseas viewers

Both albums are distributed digitally, so overseas listeners can find them through the usual streaming services, although store availability can differ by region and should be checked on the artists’ official pages. The CD editions and merchandise are sold through a Japanese online store, and whether that store ships overseas should be confirmed on the store page before ordering. The video embedded above is a 3D live performance of “Symbiotic Dominion” from Asu’s 2nd one-man live “BIRTH”, published on Bema’s channel in October 2025. It is an earlier performance and not a clip from the new release.

According to VMedia’s count as of October 29, “Symbiotic Dominion” has about 640,000 views and is the most-viewed of the paired music videos, followed by “Bitter Etude” with about 410,000.

What we don’t know yet

  • Ticket prices for the February 14 live
  • Whether the live will have an online stream or archive
  • Whether the CD sets can be ordered from outside Japan
