Who is Hakui Koyori?
Hakui Koyori is a hololive VTuber and a member of holoX, the unit of the “secret society” concept. Japanese outlet Kai-You places her debut in 2021 and describes her as the unit’s “brain” who presents herself as a researcher. The same report says she has uploaded over 3,400 videos as of September 2026, which gives a sense of how often she streams. Her music identity is built around a “rikejo” image, a Japanese shorthand for science-minded women, and her songs lean into chemistry and lab imagery.
Earlier this year she also guest-voiced characters in the TV anime DIGIMON BEATBREAK (February 2026) and was chosen to deliver the ceremonial play-ball call at the WBC (March 2026), according to Kai-You. For an overview of the wider group, see our page on hololive production.
Background: the album behind the live
The concert is tied to Koyori’s second album, Chemical Spark, due on December 2, 2026. It is billed as her first album with nationwide retail distribution in Japan, and it mixes previously released songs, new original tracks and CD-exclusive songs. Tracks named in the press coverage include “Baku Love + Chemistry” (written by Nayutan Seijin, with a music video reported to have passed one million YouTube views), “Kanseitou yori” (by Shota Horie) and the digitally pre-released “Pink ni Nacchae” (by jon-YAKITORY). A full track list was not published in the sources we read.
- Limited edition: 13,200 yen (tax included), in a hexagonal box with a signed alternate jacket, an acrylic stand, a hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME promo card, a replica letter and a booklet
- Regular edition: 3,850 yen (tax included); first pressings include one of five random alternate jackets, and a few may be signed
- Release event: a talk event at the AKIHABARA Gamers flagship store is reported for January 8, 2027, with entry by lottery for Gamers store buyers
How the tickets work
Venue seats are sold in lottery rounds first, then on a first-come basis. All times below are Japan Standard Time (JST, UTC+9) and sales run through the Japanese ticket service L-Tike.
- 1st presale (lottery): only for holders of the serial code that comes with the limited edition of Chemical Spark. Applications ran from October 11 (21:00) to October 19 (23:59); results and payment October 23 (15:00) to October 26 (23:59). This round has already closed.
- 2nd presale (lottery): open to everyone. Applications October 30 (21:00) to November 9 (23:59); results and payment November 13 (15:00) to November 16 (23:59).
- General sale: first come, first served, from November 22 at 12:00.
Per-ticket fees apply on top: for the lottery rounds, a 440 yen presale service fee, a 330 yen system fee and a 110 yen e-ticket fee; for the general sale, the 330 yen system fee and the 110 yen e-ticket fee. Each account may apply once per ticket type.
For fans who do not hold a serial code, the second presale (applications from October 30 to November 9) is the next opportunity, followed by the general sale on November 22. The announcement does not describe any overseas service for venue tickets.
Watching from overseas
For fans outside Japan, the streaming ticket is the practical route. The organizer lists a separate English-language SPWN event page for buyers outside Japan, while the ZAIKO listing is shared by Japan and overseas. The standard ticket costs 6,800 yen and is on sale from October 11, 2026 until January 22, 2027 at 20:00 (JST). Ticket holders can add optional camera features: a fixed stage camera for 2,000 yen, “Holo Focus” for 2,500 yen, or both together for 4,000 yen. A separate 220 yen fee applies. The archive stays available until January 22, 2027 at 23:59, and viewing stops at that moment even if you are partway through, so plan your replay time.
Because the concert starts in the evening in Tokyo, it falls in the early hours for many overseas viewers. The stream opens at 18:00 JST and the show at 18:30 JST on December 22, which is roughly:
- London (GMT): 09:00 stream opens, 09:30 show
- New York (US Eastern): 04:00 and 04:30
- Los Angeles (US Pacific): 01:00 and 01:30
- Sydney (AEDT): 20:00 and 20:30
Conversions are our own and assume standard winter time in each region; please check them against your own clock before buying. Goods are on sale in the hololive official shop from October 11 (21:00) to November 16 (18:00) JST, and the organizer says both Japanese and English versions of the shop exist.
If you plan to attend in person
Tokyo Garden Theater is a short walk from three stations: Ariake (Exit 2B, about 4 minutes), Ariake Tennis no Mori (Exit 2A, about 5 minutes) and Kokusai-tenjijo (Exit A, about 7 minutes). The organizer asks visitors not to park cars or leave bicycles near the building. Because lottery sales require a Japanese ticketing account, and tickets are name-printed, overseas visitors should read the L-Tike rules carefully; our guide to reading Japanese ticket pages may help.
What we don’t know yet
- The setlist, guest appearances and any special staging have not been announced.
- The sources we read do not say whether the stream carries subtitles or language options.
- No separate overseas ticketing or proxy service is mentioned for in-person seats.
- Whether further live dates or a recorded release will follow has not been stated.
