EOZ VR Gloves Announced: Per-Finger Tracking With VRChat Input 2.0 Support for $300

Comments Off on EOZ VR Gloves Announced: Per-Finger Tracking With VRChat Input 2.0 Support for $300

EOZ VR has announced EOZ VR Gloves, a pair of gloves that track the bending of each finger and joint and pass that data to SteamVR and VRChat. The Japanese VR outlet MoguLive reported the product on October 28, 2026. The price is listed as $300, and the product page still shows “Coming Soon” with no release date.

At a glance

  • Product: EOZ VR Gloves, made by EOZ VR
  • Price: $300 (the article gives the price in US dollars only)
  • Release: described as “coming soon”; no date announced
  • Tracking: individual finger and joint movement, plus gesture-based controls
  • Compatibility: VRChat Input 2.0 and apps that support SteamVR skeletal input
  • Japanese availability: not confirmed

What was announced

The gloves detect how far each finger and each joint is bent, including opening and closing of the hand. They also support gesture controls. For position tracking, the gloves use a Tundra Tracker, which communicates wirelessly through SteamVR and does not need a separate dongle. Position and orientation (6DoF) come from Lighthouse base stations, so a Lighthouse setup is required.

The Tundra Tracker has an 850mAh battery that the maker rates at about eight hours of continuous use. Charging takes about two hours over USB Type-C. The package contains one pair of gloves, a mount adapter for the Tundra Tracker and a carrying case. The gloves come in sizes S, M and L, and bundles that include the Tundra Tracker are offered. The warranty runs for one year from shipment.

People who sign up for stock notifications on the official store are eligible for a pre-order bonus, which is limited to the first 100 pairs. The images shown so far come from development units, and the final product may look different.

Background

The article describes VRChat Input 2.0 as VRChat’s input standard. Finger tracking in VRChat lets an avatar’s hands follow the wearer’s own hand movements. VTubers who appear in VRChat, and performers who stream from VR spaces, are among the people who may use hand tracking, although the MoguLive article does not mention VTubers directly. Its only platform-specific reference is VRChat.

Compatibility is limited to SteamVR-compatible headsets, and the article notes that operation on every headset model is not guaranteed. The gloves also depend on Tundra Tracker hardware and Lighthouse base stations, which is worth checking before buying.

What it means for overseas viewers

Most overseas VTubers and VRChat users buy tracking hardware from international stores, and EOZ VR sells through its own online store, where the stock notification sign-up is available. The $300 price is stated in US dollars, so buyers outside Japan will not need to convert from yen. Shipping costs, taxes and delivery regions have not been published.

For viewers, the practical effect is limited for now. Better finger tracking can make VR streams and VRChat events look more natural, but the product is not yet on sale, and its real-world tracking quality has not been reviewed.

What we don’t know yet

  • The release date and the regions where the gloves will ship
  • Whether the gloves will be sold in Japan
  • Shipping fees and import taxes
  • Independent test results for tracking accuracy and latency
  • Whether the Tundra Tracker is required to be purchased separately for buyers who do not choose a bundle
