New VTuber Label ELECTRIC TOWN MUSIC Debuts Three Songs on November 7 and 8
Two companies in Tokyo’s VTuber scene have launched a joint music label for independent VTubers. The label, ELECTRIC TOWN MUSIC, is run by the VTuber live-event company Vcafe (ぶいかふぇ♪) and YUZURIHA Records Inc., and its launch was announced on October 28, 2026. MoguLive reported the news. Its first three songs will receive live debuts on November 7 and 8, 2026.
At a glance
- Label: ELECTRIC TOWN MUSIC
- Operators: Vcafe (ぶいかふぇ♪) and YUZURIHA Records Inc.
- Announced: October 28, 2026
- Slogan: “From Akihabara Electric Town to the world”
- First artists: 早乙女あずき (Saotome Azuki), CYBILL and 花野彩晴 (reading of the name not confirmed)
- Debut performances: November 7 and 8, 2026, at Nippon Cultural Broadcasting Media Plus Hall, during Vcafe’s third-anniversary “Bunkasai Live 2026”
What was announced
The label targets independent VTubers, VSingers and VMusicians. Its planned work includes original song production, music distribution, CD releases, and the planning, operation and production of music and live events. Vcafe has held more than 400 VTuber live events in Akihabara. YUZURIHA Records has handled music production, CD releases and digital distribution for VTubers and VSingers. The label combines the event side and the production side of that work. In practical terms, an independent performer would be able to work with one group on writing and recording a song, releasing it, and presenting it on stage. The label describes its purpose as supporting independent VTubers, VSingers and VMusicians, and the phrase “to the world” in the slogan indicates an intention to reach audiences beyond Akihabara, although no overseas plans have been announced.
Three first artists and songs were named:
- Saotome Azuki, “Hidane” (火種)
- CYBILL, “Kurae do Uruwashi” (喰らえど麗し), described as a rock-leaning track
- 花野彩晴, “stand by me”, described as a song about being by someone’s side
The sources we reviewed do not give an official romanization for the third artist’s name, so it is shown in Japanese here. Release dates, streaming platforms and jacket art for the songs will be announced later.
Background
The article presents the label as a joint effort between an event operator and a music production company. The announcement does not say whether the label signs exclusive contracts, how revenue is shared or how independent VTubers can apply to join, and those terms should not be assumed.
What it means for overseas viewers
The debut performances are held at a physical venue in Japan on November 7 and 8. The article does not mention a broadcast or archive, so overseas viewers cannot yet count on watching them. Digital distribution is part of the label’s stated business, which means the songs may later reach streaming services. A schedule has not been given.
If the songs are distributed worldwide, fans abroad could hear the first releases through the usual music services. Until the release dates are announced, the label’s official channels and the artists’ own accounts are the place to watch.
What we don’t know yet
- Release dates, distribution platforms and jacket artwork for the three songs
- Whether the November 7 and 8 live debuts will be streamed or archived
- Contract terms and how artists apply to join the label
- Which other artists the label will add
