Background
ReverV was founded on October 1, 2025. It operates a Type B employment support facility, ReverV Works, which opened in April 2026. Type B facilities are a category of Japanese welfare service in which people with disabilities who find regular employment difficult can work under support. The event is part of the organization’s effort to introduce welfare topics to a wider audience through virtual spaces, and the release describes VTubers as the performers and hosts.
Cluster is a Japanese metaverse platform that can be used from smartphones, PCs and VR devices, and it hosts live music events, presentations and an always-open virtual world.
What it means for overseas viewers
The event is free and takes place in a virtual space, so people outside Japan can join if they create a Cluster account and install the app. The time zone is the main barrier. The event starts at 04:00 UTC on November 1, which is the middle of the night in the Americas (midnight in US Eastern time, noting that US clocks change on the same date) and morning in Europe, and it ends at 08:00 UTC. The release and the event site are in Japanese, and no translation or interpretation has been announced.
For readers interested in how VTubers are used outside entertainment, the event is a small example of VTuber performers working with a nonprofit to cover a social topic.
What we don’t know yet
- Whether the event will be recorded or streamed outside Cluster
- Whether any English support will be offered
- Final confirmation of the schedule and exhibitors, which the organizer lists as tentative
