Inugami Korone is a dog-eared VTuber in hololive production’s GAMERS group, known for retro, horror and indie game streams, marathon sessions and a relaxed, self-deprecating sense of humor. She debuted on April 13, 2019 and streams in Japanese on YouTube. Her official profile calls her a dog from a bakery in the city who plays games in her free time while on watch duty. This profile covers her character, what her content looks like, her milestones and music, what she has been doing in 2026, and where a new viewer can start.

At a glance

  • Group: hololive GAMERS (with Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio and Nekomata Okayu)
  • Debut: April 13, 2019
  • Birthday: October 1
  • Height: 156 cm
  • Language: Japanese
  • Platform: YouTube
  • Fan name: Koronesuki (written “Koronesky,” or “Korone Likers,” on the official profile)
  • Character design: Fukahire
  • Greeting: “Ello! Fingers! Give me your fingers!” (official intro)

Character

Korone plays a dog character, and her catchphrase “yubi! yubi!” (“fingers! fingers!”) has become part of the fandom’s vocabulary. Her streams mix gameplay with casual chatting, and she is often praised for her reactions to games rather than only for skill. Critics such as Stuart Gipp of Retronauts have recognized her humor and gameplay reactions, according to Wikipedia.

What her content looks like

Korone is best known for gaming streams, especially retro, horror and indie titles. She sometimes runs endurance streams that last over 24 hours, and she has done 24-hour collaborations with fellow hololive member Sakura Miko. In 2020 she played games such as Super Mario Bros. in English-only streams for international viewers. Her 3D debut livestream is tagged #戌神ころね3D and is the video the official profile recommends for her 3D performances.

Milestones

  • April 13, 2019: debut as part of hololive GAMERS.
  • April 2020: her playthroughs of Doom popularized the “Doog” nickname, and Doom Eternal later included an easter egg referencing her, which was later removed.
  • August 25, 2020: her “Eekum Bokum” moment during Banjo-Kazooie became an internet meme, which the game’s composer Grant Kirkhope praised.
  • October 2020: reached 1 million YouTube subscribers, reportedly the first hololive Japan member to do so and the second hololive member overall after Gawr Gura.
  • 2022: became a Sonic the Hedgehog ambassador.
  • June 28, 2023: reached 2 million subscribers.
  • 2025: her song “Hongami Precious Moment” appears in the game Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, according to Wikipedia. She also interviewed Danny Boyle and Alex Garland about *28 Years Later* in June 2025.

Music

Korone has released a steady run of original songs since 2021. Her official profile lists singles including “Gimmick Gimmick Entertainment,” “yumeiro wonder,” “Mafiosa,” “Mad POPCORN World!,” “We are GAMERS!!!!,” “BITE! KAMU! BITE!,” “Wonky Monkey,” “Doggy god’s street” and “SAIKYO TENSAI WANDERFUL WORLD of KORONE.” Her solo album is *MUSICAL Fantasia of Bremen*, and she also appears on the group album *Holohoneygaoka High School -Originals-*. Several singles and collaborations have charted on Japanese digital and download charts.

2026 activity

In August 2026 Capcom announced a collaboration between *Rockman* (Mega Man) and hololive GAMERS, featuring Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio, Nekomata Okayu and Inugami Korone. The campaign began August 22 in Japan, with newly illustrated merchandise and arcade prizes such as acrylic stands, keychains, badges, T-shirts, cushions, pouches and stickers, sold through Capcom arcades and its online crane game service, Cap Tore, as well as Capcom Store and CharaCap locations. Capcom says the goods are due at Capcom Store Taipei in late November. The report does not describe any Korone-specific items.

Where to start

  • Want her humor: a short highlight clip from a game she is playing for the first time, then the full stream.
  • Want her gaming: a horror or retro title stream, ideally a replay, since marathon streams can run for hours.
  • Want music: the two MVs above, then the full album.
  • Want the group: the other GAMERS members are Shirakami Fubuki, Ookami Mio and Nekomata Okayu.
