Shirakami Fubuki (白上フブキ) is a hololive 1st Generation VTuber, a white-haired fox-eared “otaku” character who made her debut stream on June 1, 2018. She leads the hololive GAMERS unit, was named a hololive Meet ambassador in 2024, and released her first album and first solo concert in early 2025.

Her official profile describes a white-haired, animal-eared otaku fox who enjoys talking with fans and aims to become a top otaku idol. Her stream hashtag is #フブキCh and her fan-art hashtag is #絵フブキ.

Milestones

  • June 1, 2018: debut stream as part of hololive’s 1st Generation.
  • December 2018: became leader of the newly formed hololive GAMERS unit, according to Wikipedia.
  • 2018–2019: her “AWSL” catchphrase spread through Bilibili comments, and she ranked second among VTubers on Bilibili in April 2019; a 2019 drumming collaboration with the American YouTuber The8BitDrummer helped introduce hololive to overseas audiences (Wikipedia).
  • October 2022: reached 2 million YouTube subscribers (Wikipedia).
  • April 2, 2024: named one of five hololive Meet 2024 ambassadors, alongside Kobo Kanaeru, Hakos Baelz, Minase Rio and Banzoin Hakka.
  • January 15, 2025: released her first album, FBKINGDOM “Blessing”, which Wikipedia reports debuted at #2 on Japan’s combined chart; its pre-release song “Our Constellation” was written by Revo.
  • February 13, 2025: first solo concert, FBKINGDOM “ANTHEM”, at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama (guests reported as Sakura Miko and Hoshimachi Suisei).

Her first album: FBKINGDOM “Blessing”

COVER announced on October 5, 2024 that Fubuki would release her first nationally distributed full album, FBKINGDOM “Blessing”, on January 15, 2025, marking her sixth year of activity; the announcement noted that her channel had passed 2.4 million subscribers in 2024. The album has 14 tracks, five existing songs including “Say! Fanfare!” and nine new ones, with contributors named in the announcement including Revo (of Sound Horizon and Linked Horizon), Ryutaro Fujinaga, Ryuki Koike and Naoki Kubo. It was sold as a limited edition (¥9,900 including tax, with a box, an acrylic stand, a card-game card and an invitation) and a regular edition (¥3,850, product number HOLO-014), in CD, download and streaming formats. The advance single “SUPERNOVA,” written and arranged by Ryuki Koike, was released on October 6, 2024; its music video is embedded at the top of this page.

The tracklist ranges from “Hi Fine FOX!!” and “KONKON Beats” to “Starry Sky Confetti” and “Glow Embrace,” and includes “Wonder Future!” featuring Ookami Mio, Nekomata Okayu and Inugami Korone.

Videos worth knowing

The official FBKINGDOM site lists a dozen videos, including original songs such as “SUPERNOVA,” “Storyteller,” “Bokuranoseiza” and “FOXXXROOM,” an animated trailer called “FBKINGDOM STORY,” an original anime music video for “Glow Embrace,” a 3D live version of “Bokuranoseiza” and a Blu-ray digest of the first solo concert. That makes the site a handy single place to browse her official music content.

Music and live events

The concert is a useful example of how hololive handles overseas viewers. Per the official announcement, venue tickets for applicants outside Japan went through ZAIKO (S-seat 12,000 yen, A-seat 9,500 yen, B-seat 8,300 yen, tax included), and a streaming ticket cost 6,500 yen through SPWN or ZAIKO, with an archive available until March 13, 2025. Commemorative goods had a separate overseas store link. For a more general explanation of buying from abroad, see our merch guide.

Beyond streaming

According to Wikipedia, her song “Say! Fanfare!” (2020) reached #19 on Billboard Japan’s digital chart, and “Bokuranoseiza” (2024) reached #24; in November 2023 she was announced as the voice of the character Geats Chemy in the Kamen Rider winter movie Gotchard & Geats. These details come from a secondary source, so check the official shop and news pages before citing a specific chart position. Her wider impact, in the same source’s telling, began in 2018–2019, when her “AWSL” catchphrase spread through comments on the Chinese video site Bilibili.

Why she is a good first hololive channel to follow

Fubuki is one of the longest-running members of hololive, leads the GAMERS unit, and has both a talk-and-games streaming identity and a growing music catalogue. The official profile’s description, a fox otaku who aims to be a top otaku idol, signals the humor of the channel, and the album and concert give newcomers a ready-made starting point.

Collaborations and related talents

She is a key figure in hololive GAMERS and has appeared alongside fellow hololive members such as Hoshimachi Suisei at her concert. Her wider group is described on our hololive production page.
