Tsunomaki Watame (角巻わため) is a hololive 4th Generation VTuber who plays a sheep-themed singer. She made her debut stream on December 29, 2019, and is known for song covers, a weekly singing stream and a dream of performing at Tokyo’s Budokan.

At a glance

  • Agency: hololive production (COVER Corporation), hololive 4th Generation.
  • Debut stream: December 29, 2019.
  • Birthday: June 6.
  • Fan name: Watamates.
  • Illustrators (Live2D): fuumi and keffiy.
  • Main content: singing, song covers and talk streams.

Character

Her official profile describes her as a singer who uploads song covers and hosts a weekly singing stream called “Watameh Night Fever!!”. It adds that she dreams of performing at Tokyo’s Budokan. Her stream hashtag is #ドドドライブ, her fan-art hashtag is #つのまきあーと and her clip hashtag is #わたわた動画.

What the content looks like

A third-party profile describes her as a gentle-voiced performer who focuses on music rather than games, often regarded as one of the kindest members of her generation, and known for weekly karaoke streams and her music series. Treat that as a fan-facing summary rather than an official statement; the official profile above is the primary source.

Music milestones

Her EP WHAT A MESS!!! went on sale on December 30, 2024 as a four-track release: “Shout now, sheep!!”, “Revival”, “WataAme Pop” and “Our step.” The digital and streaming editions were listed at ¥1,020 on the official music page, and a made-to-order CD edition on the official shop (¥6,160, with a limited bonus set) had an order period from December 29, 2024 to February 10, 2025 and shipped from early April 2025. The shop page shows it as sold out.

Milestones

  • December 29, 2019: debut stream as part of hololive 4th Generation.
  • October 12, 2021: her first live, “Watame Night Fever!! in Zepp Tokyo,” supported by Bushiroad, at Zepp Tokyo (gates 17:00, stream 17:30, start 18:00; the official page does not state a time zone).
  • December 30, 2024: the EP WHAT A MESS!!! goes on sale.
  • April 27, 2026: named one of four hololive Meet 2026 ambassadors, alongside Airani Iofifteen (hololive Indonesia), Gigi Murin (hololive English) and Rindo Chihaya (hololive DEV_IS), as COVER marked the fifth year of hololive Meet.
  • September 24, 2026: sales of her single “RESPAWN!!” open, described as her first solo anime tie-in song.

Recent activity: “RESPAWN!!”

The official shop lists a CD single, RESPAWN!!, released through the label VAP at ¥1,650 with product number VPCC-82366, with sales opening on September 24, 2026 at 12:00 JST and shipping by late December 2026. It has three tracks: the title song “RESPAWN!!,” the opening theme of the TV anime Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden, written and produced by Shota Horie; “WAYWARD,” with lyrics and music by lia, which the page describes as her move into the rock scene as she works toward a solo concert at the Nippon Budokan; and “Boredom♡Romantica feat. Nia Liston,” a duet with the anime’s title character voiced by Honoka Inoue. An early-reservation bonus (a postcard with a printed autograph) ran until November 10, and the official shop offered an exclusive acoustic version of “WAYWARD” as a download opening on December 23, 2026. The page lists the item as sold out and refers overseas customers to the shop’s international-delivery page.

The Budokan goal matches her official profile, which says she dreams of performing at Tokyo’s Budokan. It is a stated aim, and no Budokan date has been announced on the pages we reviewed.

The 4th Generation and collaborations

Her generation-mates in the hololive 4th Generation include Amane Kanata, Tokoyami Towa and Himemori Luna. A hardware example: a keycap set made by HYTE featuring all four of them was opened for pre-order with an MSRP of $99.99 and layouts for JIS, ANSI and UK/ISO keyboards, and the announcement says it can be bought in any country or region. The set is a consumer-product tie-in rather than a content collaboration, but it is a rare example of an item that overseas fans can order without a proxy service.

Fan culture and hashtags

Her fan name, Watamates, and her stream hashtag (#ドドドライブ) come from the official profile; the profile also lists a fan-art tag and a clips tag. The profile credits fuumi and keffiy as her Live2D designers.

Goods and events

The official shop has regularly released birthday and anniversary goods for her, including a 2026 birthday collection and a collection for her fifth anniversary of activities. For overseas buyers, the shop lists international delivery eligibility on its international-delivery page, and for regions without direct delivery, the product page points to the proxy retailer GeekJack.
