Kojima Funa
Kojima Funa (狐島フナ) is an independent Japanese VTuber who presents herself as a fox girl “shut away on a deserted island,” and she is also an illustrator who draws on stream. Her birthday is October 22, which is the day this page goes live. She is not part of an agency, and she streams on YouTube on an irregular schedule.
Who she is
Her channel profile describes a fox girl living in seclusion on a remote island, and her streams mix casual talk, games and drawing. VTuber database listings classify her as an individual (independent) VTuber who is self-incarnated, meaning she runs her own model and activity without an agency. Her YouTube channel was created on May 3, 2019. That is the only start date available, so this page does not list an official debut date.
What she streams
Looking at the uploads on her official channel, the content falls into three broad groups:
- Chat streams, including a birthday chat held on her birthday in 2025 (October 22, 2025) and another posted on October 19, 2026.
- Games, such as a launch-day stream of Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A (October 16, 2025), a first-time attempt at R.E.P.O. as a collaboration (November 30, 2025), and a horror-adjacent title streamed in two parts under the heading “怖くないらしい” (October 9 and 16, 2026).
- Drawing and collaborations, including an illustration making-of timelapse (June 2, 2025), a Gartic Phone collaboration billed as her first drawing of the year (January 24, 2026), a Chameleon-style party game collaboration where she plays as an illustrator (July 22, 2026), and an online claw-machine stream built around newly drawn goods for the Dokocha Festival neo collaboration (June 28, 2026).
Watch
Her most recent upload at the time of writing is a birthday chat stream from October 19, 2026, which is a good place to see how she talks with viewers.
Why she is on this list
World Virtual Research lists independent creators alongside large agency talent. Smaller channels often have fewer public sources, so this profile sticks to what her official channel and public database listings show. Details such as an exact debut date, merchandise and schedule are left out because we could not confirm them from an official source.
