Ironmouse
Ironmouse is a Puerto Rican VTuber, singer and Twitch streamer who plays a horned demon character with pink and purple hair. She began streaming in 2017, was a founding member of the agency VShojo, and has been independent since July 2025. She streams in English on Twitch and has set several of the platform’s subscriber records, won The Game Awards’ Content Creator of the Year in 2023, and in 2026 became a playable Fortnite Icon Series character. This profile covers her character, her milestones, her charity work, her music, her departure from VShojo and where a new viewer can start.
At a glance
- Status: independent (formerly VShojo)
- Debut: 2017 (her nine-year streaming anniversary was August 4, 2026)
- Language: English
- Platform: Twitch
- Character: a demon persona whose backstory presents her as a personification of Satan, with pink and purple hair and horns
Character
Ironmouse streams from home and chose a virtual avatar so she would not have to show her face, inspired by Kizuna AI. Her name comes from a villain in the manga *Sailor Moon*. She had aspired to an opera career before streaming, and singing remains a major part of her content.
Milestones
- February–March 2022: a 31-day subathon made her the most-subscribed female streamer on Twitch at the time, with about 172,000 subscribers.
- June 2023: a second subathon set a record of 205,488 subscribers.
- December 7, 2023: won Content Creator of the Year at The Game Awards, the first VTuber to win the category.
- 2022–2024: named Best VTuber at The Streamer Awards in each year, and nominated again in 2025.
- September 30, 2024: broke the all-time Twitch subscriber record, passing Kai Cenat, who reclaimed it in November 2024.

- August 2025: Rolling Stone named her among its 25 Most Influential Creators of 2025.
Charity
Ironmouse has raised money for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. A charity event on August 4, 2021 raised over $100,000, and subathons in June 2023 and September 2024 directed half of subscription and Bits revenue to the foundation. After she left VShojo in July 2025, an independent fundraiser for the foundation passed $1 million within two days.
Music
Her original singles began in 2023 with “Waifu Jam.” “Cry for Me (Wa Wa Wa)” featuring Bubi (2024) reached the US Dance chart, and “Carry On” (June 2024) was the ending song for a documentary from the Immune Deficiency Foundation. In June 2025 she appeared on bbno$’s “1–800.” She has also covered songs by Deco*27, NewJeans and Lady Gaga, and performed Final Fantasy XIV songs at the game’s Fan Fest in Anaheim in June 2026.
Leaving VShojo
On July 21, 2025, Ironmouse resigned from VShojo, alleging unpaid revenue and unpaid charity donations. VShojo announced on July 24, 2025 that it would cease operations, and stated that it had improperly spent money raised for charity. Ironmouse has continued streaming and releasing music independently. Our VShojo agency page has the timeline.
2026 activity
- March 2026: Jakks Pacific was announced as the first major US producer of officially licensed Ironmouse merchandise.
- June 2026: performed Final Fantasy XIV songs at the game’s Fan Fest in Anaheim.
- August 4, 2026: a Fortnite Sprite based on her launched, timed to her nine-year streaming anniversary.
- September 2026: a Fortnite Icon Series set was scheduled for September 18, 2026, after she shared a teaser on September 12. Reports based on data-miners list two outfits with styles, two emotes, a pickaxe and a guitar, and Epic Games had not published full details or pricing when those reports appeared. It would be the first time players can equip her as a playable outfit.
